The Class of 2023 held a special event called Seniorsgiving on November 10, in Belk Dining Hall to announce and celebrate their senior class gift project. This year the class will be raising money for the greatest needs of Disability Services.
On Wednesday, November 9, Meredith College parents and families raised $14,700 in 24 hours toward this year’s project to enhance campus outdoor spaces. The goal was $10,000. The Jessie Ball duPont Fund is also providing matching funds for a portion of the total raised, so the final total will be even higher.
Make It Count for Meredith by honoring the strong women in your life during our 24 hour Giving Day on February 28, 2023. By making a gift on this special day you are showing students a million reasons why their education is important and how the Meredith community supports strong women. The Communication, Health, Exercise & Sport Science Building was completed in July in time for the beginning of the new academic year. The construction project was a true collaboration between communication, exercise and sports science, and athletics. The inviting spaces and hands-on classrooms will give students the tools they need to learn and prepare for future careers.

President Jo Allen encourages members of the Meredith community to join Meredith Mentors, an online platform that connects the Meredith community for mentoring and networking opportunities.
